We serve everyone.

Our team operates from a culture of Christian faith. We don't lean into one particular denomination. We believe in Jesus Christ, and the people on our team come from a number of different denominations and traditions.

Faith is part of our culture and our business practices. But no matter where our clients stand, or the other agents we work with, or even the agents who join our team, we don't require anybody to share our faith. What we do ask is to be held accountable to one thing: that we serve you the way Christ teaches in the New Testament. That's our goal. To serve you no matter where you are, and no matter what you believe.

And we want people to know that if you're willing, we'll pray with you, and we'll pray for you, along the way. We ask for God's blessing on the work we do for our clients, and we ask for guidance and wisdom, because we know we can easily be led wrong, or fail. We never want to put a sale ahead of the values and the needs of our clients.

We come at this from believing in Jesus Christ. He made it very plain that we're to serve others, and to be an example of what He did. He didn't just spend time with the religious people of the day. He spent time with everyone. He served everyone, even people who didn't like Him, and even people who didn't believe in Him. We believe that's a foundational principle of serving others, and we try to bring it into our business.

We do make mistakes, and we do get out of alignment. But we don't require anyone to believe what we believe to do business with us, or even to be on our team. We just don't want anyone to be misled. Erin and I have made a decision: we'll lead our team from a place of Christian faith and service. Not a denomination. And not judging anyone, because it's not our job to judge anyone.

We just want to serve well. At the end of the day, we want you, and at the end of time, Jesus, to say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” That's our goal in business, and we try hard to live it out in every part of our lives.

I'll speak for myself here. I've done plenty of things I'm not proud of, things I'd call sin. Everyone has. But we're trying really hard. We want to be a light in people's day, because people go through hard times and hard things, and if we can encourage someone, we want to.

We don't preach at people, and we don't push anything on anyone. Our hope is that it comes through in our actions: our attitude, our service, our professionalism, how we listen, and how we try to help, whether it's about real estate or not. Because actions speak much louder than words.
